STANDARD CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Upon receipt of a delegate’s payment for the VA Summit, registration is confirmed on the understanding that the delegate is aware of the VA Summit dates and times, and is able and available to attend.
Should the delegate wish to cancel after payment has been made for their place at the VA Summit, such request for cancellation must be received in writing / via email to VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA at email@example.com at least 30 days prior to event commencement date for a full refund less an administrative charge of 20% of the total refund.
Any cancellations and requests for refunds less than 30 days prior to event commencement date are required to supply documentation detailing the reasonable circumstances under which the cancellation is requested, and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Any refund is subject to an administrative charge of 20% of the total refund.
NOTE: "Reasonable Circumstances" DO NOT INCLUDE a delegate’s change of mind; change of employment or working hours which impacts or impairs the delegate's ability to attend sessions; domestic relocation; or financial hardship.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Conditions that apply to cancellations, postponement and rescheduling of the VA Summit due to COVID-19 are listed below.
All other cancellations will be subject to the terms of the Standard Cancellation and Refund Policy (as outlined above).
Cancellation of face-to-face event
If the face-to-face event is cancelled by VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA due to an outbreak of COVID-19 restricting travel to, or circulation within, Sydney and / or the surrounding metropolitan area, VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA will, if possible, hold a virtual VA Summit and all delegates will be transferred to the virtual event. The difference in price between in-person attendance and virtual attendance will be refunded. If no virtual event is possible, registration will be refunded in full.
Postponement of face-to-face event
If the face-to-face event is postponed by VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA due to an outbreak of COVID-19 restricting travel to, or circulation within, Sydney and / or the surrounding metropolitan area, delegates will be notified immediately and offered assignment of equivalent registration for the new date. If the new date is unsuitable, the registration will be refunded in full.
PAYMENT OF FEES
All registration fees are payable in advance of the VA Summit and entry to the VA Summit may be denied in the event registration fees (or a portion thereof) are unpaid prior to commencement of the VA Summit.
LOSS AND INJURY
All VA Summit participants are advised to procure their own insurance to cover all risks including (but not limited to) costs of travel, accommodation, VA Summit fees, personal property, health and medical expenses, injury, death and all other risks. The VA Summit, host organisation and organisers will not be held liable for any claims under any circumstances.
All details contained in this flyer and on the VA Summit website are subject to change without notice.
The VA Summit organisers reserve the right to make changes to the VA Summit program without notice. VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA is not liable for non-delivery of services beyond their control.
In the event of an industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the VA Summit organisers and VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.
Your registration details will be shared with the VA Summit organisers for the purpose of communicating program details.
By registering for the VA Summit you are hereby giving VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA permission to photograph you for use in our publications, website and other promotional material associated with VA INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA VA Summit.
